What are the admission criteria? Will my boy be accepted? The criteria for admission include the following:
- The applicant must be willing to attend the Academy, abide by the rules and regulations, and participate in all required activities and programs.
- The applicant must be enrolled in school and attending classes if school is in session.
- The applicant must be capable of achieving average or above-average grades.
- The applicant cannot have been dismissed from a previous school for disciplinary reasons.
- The applicant must also be a single male of good moral character, free of any juvenile or civil problems.
- The applicant must be free of any drug, alcohol, emotional, or psychological problems which are not appropriate for the MMA environment.
How do you begin the Application Process? For your convenience, here’s a step by step outline to follow.
STEP 1: COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION
- All candidates must complete and submit an Application for Admission with $100.00 USD.
- If an F-1 student visa is required, you must also submit a $200.00 non-refundable SEVIS I-20 fee. In case of non-acceptance the $200.00 SEVIS fee will be refunded.
- U.S. citizens residing outside the U.S. are considered an international applicant. Dependents of U.S. military who are assigned outside of the U.S. and expatriates are exempt from international fees.
STEP 2: SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING APPLICANT REFERENCES- These recommendation or reference forms are for you to distribute to the required references.
- All recommendations, references or evaluations should be returned directly to MMA by the evaluator.

STEP 3: REQUEST SCHOOL RECORDS
- All records from the previous school are to be sent directly to MMA from the school. In order for MMA to request this information please submit a Transcript and Records Request.
- An official final transcript, indicating the applicant’s academic record and grade level, is required from the previous school(s) attended.
- If the applicant attended the previous school for only one year, then records from the last two academic years are to be sent to MMA.
- The TOEFL, SLEP and SSAT test scores are not required; however, please submit results if test results are available.
STEP 4: COMPLETE AN ADMISSIONS INTERVIEW
- The applicant should plan for an interview on campus, via telephone or video conference.
- Selected members of the admissions staff travel annually to Mexico and several Asian countries and schedule interviews with applicants. Video conference interviews work well for international students.
- Contact the Admissions Office if you plan to visit campus or would like to arrange a telephone or video conference
STEP 5: After all of the required information is received and reviewed by the Admissions Committee, a decision will be DETERMINED. If accepted, an Enrollment packet will be mailed to the parents.
