2010-2011 Tuition, Room and Board


The tuition, room and board for the 2010-2011 school year for new students is $27,750. Returning cadets who re-enroll by submitting a re-enrollment contract and a required deposit by May 15, 2010 will pay $26,000 tuition, room and board. This amount is approved by the MMA Board of Trustees and covers the cost of tuition, room and board, instruction in academic subjects, computer usage fee, coaching, supervision, textbook rentals, haircuts, laundry, dry cleaning, academic fees, lab fees, routine medical attention and accident insurance. 

There are additional fees associated with taking PSAT-ACT-PLAN-SAT-TOEFL exams, AP classes, and dual-credit classes.   


Boarding Cadet Uniform:
The uniform package and accessories are issued to all new cadets for a charge of $2,200, plus Missouri state sales tax.  Returning cadets are charged, as needed, for replacement items at the prevailing prices. There are also charges for additional uniform articles such as insignia for cadet rank, ribbons, pins, patches, shoulder boards, etc. A complete list of the basic uniform issue and accessories is provided upon acceptance.



2010-2011 Day Cadet Tuition


The tuition for day students enrolled in the high school in 2010-2011 is $8,250. The tuition for day students enrolled in the middle school is $7,750.

Day Cadet Uniform:
The uniform package and accessories are issued to all new cadets for a charge of $895, plus Missouri state sales tax.  Returning day cadets are charged, as needed, for replacement items at the prevailing prices.


Special Enrollment Incentives
- New for 2010-2011

Re-Enrollment Incentive:
 Returning cadets who re-enroll by submitting a re-enrollment contract and a required deposit by May 15, 2010 will pay $26,000 tuition, room and board.

Sibling Program:
A 10% allowance is given for a sibling enrolled in the same academic year. Effective 2010-2011 academic year.   

Legacy Program:
A 5% allowance is awarded to cadets with a father, grandfather or uncle who is an MMA alumnus. Effective 2010-2011 academic year.


International Student Fees

There is an additional $700 administration fee for all international students. An international student is anyone whose primary residence lies outside the continental United States, regardless of citizenship.  Students of active duty military personnel or expatriates are exempt form this fee.


Optional Activity Fees


MMA has a wide range of activities, varsity sports and intramural sports that are provided in the fee structure shown above. Cadets can also participate in optional activities such as paintball, snow sports, horseback riding, private music lessons, private dance lessons, private flying lessons, Boy Scouts, Martial Arts, Literary Club, WWII Re-enactment Club, JROTC Raiders, Drill Team, Band, Color Guard, Business Club, Spanish Club, Art Club, French Club, Athletic Club, Drama Club, etc. There are additional charges to participate in these clubs and activities.


Optional Spending Allowance


Parents have the option to leave funds on deposit at the Academy to provide for a weekly spending allowance. We recommend between $15 and $25 per week and you are welcome to increase or reduce these amounts.
