Personal development at MMA stems from a philosophy that emphasizes training the whole man through character and values that serve as guideposts throughout life. Cadets learn that true success comes from the determination and perseverance to accomplish goals and to contribute to society in a positive manner.
The Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps ( JROTC ) mission is: "To motivate young people to become better citizens." Our program develops leadership skills, promotes a drug-free environment, strengthens character, emphasizes values, improves fitness and promotes a healthy lifestyle. The Missouri Military Academy has been recognized as an “ Honor Unit with Distinction ” which allows the Academy special nomination privileges for the nation’s Service Academies.
